🇺🇸 Marvelous EggYolk Face & Hair Masks

- the Saga of the Blessed Egg continues ....

Do you think the title is exaggerated?

If you consider all that can be done with a "simple egg" ....

Nahhh, it's not an exaggeration!

From the kitchen to the bathroom, there I go, with an egg in hand for my weekly "beauty & self-care" ritual.

How is this ritual ??

Well, it depends...

The super simple and practical version:

I just slather an egg white on my face (skin toning effect), mix in my bath coconut oil and some essential oils, such as, lavender, chamomile or geranium.

And I tune out, for whatever time is available ...

Lastly, an egg yolk hair mask (I can leave it on just for a hour or two, in this case I'll apply it before my bath and egg white face mask).

Or I leave the hair mask for last, spend the night with it, and wash my hair in the morning.

It all depends on how much free time I've got, and what I feel like doing. I usually add a few more ingredients in my masks. Here are some suggestions ...

I suggest you follow this simple guide

"Step by Step"

1- Wash your face with warm water, this will help to open your pores.

2- Exfoliate.

3- Slightly beat the egg with a fork.

4- Use a make up brush or a cotton disk to apply the egg mask, starting at the neck and work your way up to your forehead.

*Avoid sensitive areas around eyes and mouth.

5- Relax 15/30 minutes or until the mask is completely dry.

6- Remove mask in gentle and circular movements.

7- Apply natural moisturizing oil or cream.

1- Remove excess water (if you've just washed your hair)

2- Prepare the mask

3- Apply mask, using a hair-paint brush or a thin comb, making it easier to separate hair and reaching the scalp.

4- Gently massage in the mask for a few seconds.

5- Wrap up your hair and let it work its wonders for a few hours or leave it in for the night. It would be wise to put an old towel over your pillow case, just in case your wrap slides off.

The egg yolk is naturally nourishing and moisturizing,

so ditto for it's masks ...
