You can correctly use dōTERRA Essential Oils in three ways: Aromatic, topical or internal.
An extremely effective method when using Essential Oils is precisely topical application. With a gentle massage, they will penetrate easily into the skin. Once absorbed, they continue steadfastly in the applied area for a localized benefit.
On younger or sensitive skin types, we should undoubtedly include a vegetable oil (such as fractionated coconut oil) to dilute the more potent essential oils.
Normally, the recommended dilution ratio is 1 drop of essential oil
for 3 or 4 drops of vegetable oil.
We can typically apply Essential Oils on our arms, legs, neck, abdomen, spine, temples or on the soles of feet (as the pores are wider there, it is undoubtedly an exceptional area for potential application).
We should naturally avoid applying to the around the eye area, inner and on injured skin.
Don't forget including a few drops to a warm relaxing bath. For and extra boost or add a drop or two of your favorite essential oil to your skin lotion or moisturizer.
There is inevitably "The One" essential oil for each of us. Whenever the moment, it's always the right moment!
